Our Story

Why Valle Plane Washing exists

Aircraft detailing in Northeast Florida has long meant one of two options: a national franchise that treats every airframe the same way, or doing it yourself on a Saturday with a bucket and a garden hose. Valle Plane Washing was started to give GA owners in Volusia County and the surrounding region a third option — a locally-owned crew that shows up on time, knows the difference between aluminum and composite, and prices every job to the actual aircraft in front of them.

Whether it's a Cessna 172 based at a grass strip or a Gulfstream on a corporate ramp, the standard doesn't change: careful hands, the right chemicals for the surface, and a finish that holds up on the next flight.

The Founder

Growing up on the ramp

I started cleaning and detailing airplanes when I was 12 years old, and I've been doing it ever since — over seven years of hands-on experience by the time I turned this into a business. That early start on the ramp taught me things you can't learn from a manual: which panels stain, which trim edges hold water, and how a rushed wash job shows up as swirl marks a month later.

I'm a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and I hold an Instrument Rating as a pilot. Valle Plane Washing exists at the intersection of those two things — an engineer's understanding of airframes and surfaces, and a pilot's respect for the aircraft itself.

Staffed entirely by student pilots

Every member of our crew is a student pilot. That's not a coincidence — it's the whole point. Student pilots already know their way around a ramp, understand aircraft systems and surfaces from the inside, and treat every airframe with the same care they'd want shown to their own training aircraft. That familiarity means fewer mistakes and a better finish.
